I think its about time I write another journal since my last one is from more than a year ago.

Well, first of all, thanks to all my new watchers and people who kindly leave a comment on my profile or one of my pieces... that leads me to the point I want to express...

I read all comments and usually check out the gallery of everyone who leaves a comments, but sometimes it takes me ages to reply... why you may ask? I overthink what to reply. I usually don't want to just say thanks, think a lot about what kindly comment people left me or how to reply the best a question or a long list of etc. and then... new comments arrive. I do all what I listed before and the cycle goes on for eternity...

So, if I ever had not answered one of your comments... most probably I will, and be sure I read it when you made the comment, I'm just too chaotic with this kind of stuff... If you are curious about something about my work, art process or whatever feel free to ask! leave a comment or send a note and I reply as soon as my obsessions let me do it, but I will (and I'll try to do it as soon as possible from now on).

Hola a todos!

Gracias a todos! tanto a los que me han pedido comisiones como a los que nos han ofrecido palabras de apoyo! las cosas están mejor ahora, la casa no sufrió daños estructurales, falta pintar y muebles como camas y más stuff, lo único irremplasable es Gato, que no apareció... y lo único que me preocupa ahora es que estén haciendo su famosa barda de contensión atrás de la casa de mi mamá... solo falta que a la proxima se nos venga el río encima...

Sobre las comisiones... Si te debo una comisión y no te he contactado, lo haré lo más pronto posible. Tengo un trabajo de último momento que está exigiendo bastante tiempo, pero todas están ya bocetadas, solo necesito tiempo para terminarlas... comenzando noviembre acabo con esto y todo seguirá su marcha normal.

Muchas gracias una vez más a todos! las comisiones seguirán abiertas, porque es una entrada útil de dinero, solo que en noviembre irán saliendo todas como pan caliente.

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all you support, it was a rough time, but things are quite better now, the house don't seem to have any structural damage as many others have, we still haven't bought new beds and other furniture, but we will soon, and have to paint the whole damn place... Cat didn' apeared, which I felt was the only thing that didn't end uo well...

About the comissions...

If you asked me for a comission, and I haven't contacted you, I'm very sorry, I'm gonna do it right now, the most probably escenario is that I already have the piece sketched, but I'am so overwhelmed by some recent last minute work that I haven't got the time to finish it. However I will reply you soon, starting november I will finish up this proyect and things will be a little more easy. In the other hand, some mails went to my spam folder strangely, a lot of spam made it to my inbox... I'm just checking out those right now!

Pues si, adivinen donde está mi casa en el Veracruz? en Puente Moreno, hasta hace poco cubierto por el Río Jamapa... Si bien a mi me agarró fuera de la ciudad el desastre a mi mamá no. Por suerte, logró salir antes de que el agua subiera, pero en lo que guardo ropa, documentos y electrodomesticos importantes para evacuar, el agua le llegó a los tobillo en menos de una hora... Por supuesto, todo lo demás incluyendo nuestra casa y zapatos (por alguna razón, a mi mamá se le olvidaron)continuan bajo el agua...

Well...  My mom's home was underwater for around 3 days, now the river went away from were our house is. We were of the lucky ones, it seems that the house wasn't damaged (seems, cause there wasn't any exhaustive inspection, some have serious crakcs or worst).

So, to help her out with the expenses of what may come (apart from a lot of cleaning and to check out what is still useful and what is a total loss)

Wow... tha many already....

They are many when I come to think that I upload like one thing a month and blah blah blah... I have a lot of stuff done, but no time for put it in here...

Well... this time, both languages 'cause is mostly spanish-spoken...

Bueno, el buen ha comenzado al fín su webcómic, títulado "El Maizo: La maldición del Vástago". Se los recomiendo a las pocas personas que tienen la desgracia en interesarse en las babosadas que escribo aquí. no solo por el dibujo de uno de los ilustradores de alto calibre de México, también porque la historia promete no solo ser interesante, sino tener un buen de elementos de la cultura popular mexicana que, seamos honestos, seguramente no tenemos ni idea.

Hasta el momento, todo parece indicar que será subida una página cada dos días, esten pendientes!

Now is disaster-news time

Well, well, well... all of you who (like me) don't have anything better to do (or likes to think that you don't have) than read other people's journals might notice that I don't update this thing often, but right now I don't upload stuff as usual as I did, why is that, you might guess?

First that all... I was in the internet limbo for about a month... later, I get the bloody bastard back and boom... hello white screen of doom...

I am quite familiar with windows blue screen, was part of my life longer that what I liked... but now this bloody white screen apears when I turn on my bloody imac, which really suck. I don't have any idea of what happened, but the problem seems to be recurrent and I find no solution or sign of a solution in forums or elsewhere.

I wish you all a merry blah blah blah and all that stuff and lots of shrimps and... well, stuff...

Pues si, estaba pensando en comenzar a tomar comisiones, siempre y cuando alguien las quiera, por su puesto, hay me avisan que piensan o si a alguien le interesa.

En otras mugrosas noticias, puede que hayan notado que he estado ausente del mundo internetsistico, pero es por un par de molestas razones.

la primera: estuve sin internet por alrededor de un mes, maldito cambio de depa... y los sujetos estos del cable no trabajan hasta enero, así que por mientras en el depa no tengo internet...

La segunda y más aterradora... despues de años de aguantar la adorable pantalla azul de windows, me alegra encontrarme con un familiar de mi vieja amiga: la pantalla blanca de mac. Aun lucho por resolver ese aparentemente irreparable problema (ojala solo sea apariencia, definitivamente no es el sistema, por que ya formateé la cosa esta.

Pues eso es todo feliz blahblahblah y todo eso, les deseo a todos un coctel de camarones y que no desaparescan todos sus calcetines dejando los pares incompletos

Thief beats man with sausage, dog eats evidence

A BURGLAR who ransacked a home rubbed spices over the body of one of two men as they slept in their rooms and then used a 20cm sausage to whack the other man in the face before running out of the house.
Lieutenant Ian Burrimond of Fresno County, California, described the crime as one of the strangest he had ever heard of.

He said a suspect was found hiding in a nearby field a few minutes later and taken into custody on suspicion of residential robbery.

Deputies, he said, had no problem linking the suspect to the crime.

"It seems the guy ran out of the house wearing only a T-shirt, boxer shorts and socks, leaving behind his wallet with his ID,'' Burrimond said.

Arrested was Antonio Vasquez, 22, of Fresno.

Burrimond said deputies were dispatched to the victims' home in the 300 block of South Thompson Avenue near Kings Canyon Road shortly after 8am Saturday regarding a burglary in progress.

The victims, both farmworkers, told deputies they were awakened by a stranger applying spices to one of the them and striking the other with a sausage.

Both the spices and the sausage, Burrimond said, reportedly were obtained from the victims' kitchen.

After the man fled, the victims discovered the home had been ransacked and that some money was taken, Burrimond said.

Burrimond said the money was recovered, but that the piece of sausage used in the attack was discarded by the suspect and eaten by a dog.

"That's right, the dog ate the weapon," Burrimond said.

"I tell you, this was one weird case."

10:03 Un delincuente que entró a robar a una casa al este de Fresno restregó especias a uno de los dos habitantes mientras éste dormía en su recámara y después utilizó un salchicha de 20 centímetros para pegarle al otro en cabeza y rostro antes de salir corriendo de la casa, señalaron agentes policiales del lugar.

Ian Burrimond, teniente del condado de Fresno, describió el delito como uno de los más extraños que haya escuchado nunca. Dijo que minutos más tarde encontraron a un sospechoso escondido en un campo cercano y que se lo llevaron detenido bajo sospecha de robo a casa habitación.  

Los oficiales no tuvieron problema en relacionar al sospechoso con el delito. "Al parecer el tipo salió corriendo de la casa vestido sólo con una playera, unos bóxer y calcetas y olvidó su cartera, la cual contenía su identificación", dijo Burrimond.

El nombre del individuo arrestado es Antonio Vásquez, de 22 años.

Las víctimas, ambos granjeros, dijeron a los oficiales que fueron despertados por un extraño que restregó especias a uno y le pegó al otro con una salchicha.

Tanto las especies como la salchicha, dijo Burrimond, fueron tomadas de la cocina de las víctimas.

And I'm still stuck with work... I know, I know... nobody asked! heheheh

Wow... just, wow.

This game is great, and it was a perfect closure fo a perfect series... visually amazing, great story, awesome designs... the cinemas are wonderful.

That was spoken like a true fan, but I honestly should ppoint something that I believe are not for everyone...

If you don't like Metal Gear (I don't know such a weird person, but I'm sure that they must exist) the history and cinemas will be totally OVERWHELMING, I mean, there are like eight hours of cinema (I believe that some of the designers said that was about half of the game) and the trama itself its quite complex (sons of liberty was totally beaten), but I really like it... I point this 'cause I really don't know if by saying that the trama rocks big time is because is true or because I'm a fan...

The other point is a very ambivalent point... the character are so well detailed and so realistic... that in some points of the game (most of them Otacon's traditional drama queen acts) looks kind of... "unreal" like dummies or something like that, something similar to what happened with Final Fantasy: Spirit Within (I believe that was the title, correct me if I'm wrong) movie... 3D charactes that looks so real... that just are kinda fake in some very human moments, however, this only happens a few times, most of the game cinemas are really gorgeus.

And by the other hand...

I don't have any time to upload anything... bloody school is eating my life... but once i'll finish with this charade I will upload everything that I have in "stand by", promised (no one asked about that... but what the heck)

This is really bad,  basically anything that you don't registered as yours (for which you HAVE TO PAY, yes!!! to pay for something that YOU created!!) is concidered ORPHAN WORK, sketches, family and personal photos (yes my friend, photo logs, hi5 or whaterver) illustration, basically anything that you can create and upload has no rights if you don't pay! even the worl that you ALREADY registered for the past 30 years! not only upload, but if you send sketches to an art director or a editor, and he choose one, you had to registered ALL of them, 'cause if you don't, they can used it, 'cause legally ITS NOT YOURS!!

One of the sickest things of all is that if you use one of your work that you didn't register and someone else registered arguing that is Orphan Works, YOU ARE THE THIEF because your work is THEIRS!!


I know... I'm Mexican anf, of course, I'm not a U.S. citizen, but this affect all of us around the world, but if you are a US citizen, please CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATOR:
